1. Information we collect

Bakkum has no accounts and collects no personal information.

2. Files

Files converted on the website are processed only inside your browser and are never uploaded. The Windows and Mac apps also convert files only on your computer and save results next to the original.

3. Input the app reads

To detect “drag a file and press Shift”, the desktop apps read, locally, only the mouse button, cursor position and whether Shift, Ctrl (⌘), Esc, Enter or arrow keys are pressed. No other keys or text are read, and nothing is stored or sent. The apps send nothing over the internet. A troubleshooting log (such as where converted files were saved) stays on your computer.

4. Ads and cookies

The home page and the app download page show Google AdSense ads (file conversion itself has no ads). Google may use cookies for ads; you can opt out in Google's ad settings.

5. Contact
